Senior Executive

Closing date: 17th August. Salary: £48,112 - £58,803 (dependent on experience) Contract: permanent, with three month probation period

About 411

411 is a political digital agency working with progressive clients across the UK and around the globe. We grew out of the team behind the Labour Party's 2024 general election victory, and have since expanded both locally and internationally - delivering strategy, content, and campaigns that help progressive movements build power, grow their supporter bases, and win. We are unapologetically centre-left.

About the role

411 is looking for a proactive and dependable Senior Executive to help lead one of our fast-moving digital content projects.

The role combines project coordination, team leadership, editorial judgement, content production and performance analysis. You will oversee the project’s day-to-day delivery, coordinating a remote team of five whilst providing the direction and support they need to produce consistently strong work.

You will help set the team’s weekly editorial direction, use performance data to improve its content and identify opportunities to develop and commercialise the project. This is also a hands-on role, so you will produce short-form social content yourself and remain closely involved in creative delivery.

More details about the project will be shared at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of the project, coordinating workloads, priorities and deadlines.

  • Provide regular direction, feedback and support the team.

  • Lead team meetings and maintain a collaborative and motivated working environment.

  • Draft a weekly editorial briefing using social trends, audience insight, performance data and organisational priorities.

  • Work closely with colleagues across 411, sharing successful narratives, creative formats and performance insights.

  • Produce consistently strong short-form social content.

  • Monitor performance, maintain accurate tracking and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Respond proactively and implement clear plans to improve performance as needed.

  • Oversee and edit the project’s weekly report for senior leadership.

  • Oversee content for commercial campaigns and manage day-to-day client relationships where required.

  • Represent the project internally and communicate its performance and impact.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Proactive, responsible and highly reliable.

  • Comfortable taking ownership of a project and being accountable for its delivery.

  • Confident in providing direction and constructive feedback to junior colleagues.

  • Experienced in producing effective short-form content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.

  • Editorially strong, with good judgement about the topics, narratives and formats most likely to succeed.

  • Confident using performance data to inform creative decisions.

  • An organised and practical problem-solver who can maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.

  • Comfortable communicating with clients and senior colleagues.

  • Discreet and able to handle confidential or sensitive work responsibly.

Experience

  • At least 3 years' experience in digital campaigns, political campaigning, or a closely related field - we're interested in speaking to people who understand how to translate complex political messages into engaging short form content.

  • Experience managing a small team (with direct line management responsibilities a plus).

  • Experience working in a political, union, or third sector/NGO space is desirable.

  • Experience in running social media campaigns.

Benefits

  • Salary: £48,112 - £58,803 (dependent on experience)

  • Flexible Working: This role is based in our London office but we offer staff the option to work flexibly from home

  • Generous Pension Scheme: 7% employer contribution.

  • Generous Parental Leave Policy

  • Health Assured: Access to EAP, therapy sessions, and wellbeing resources.

  • Cycle to Work Scheme
