Digital Content Producer (Executive)

Key purpose
The Digital Content Producer will lead the creation and delivery of compelling, platform-first content that communicates political messages to key audiences.
From ideation to distribution, the role involves producing innovative digital content across social media platforms, particularly vertical video and graphic formats. The successful candidate will translate political messaging into engaging online content that shapes narratives, reaches new audiences, and supports campaign objectives.
The role requires someone comfortable working independently, collaborating directly with clients and stakeholders, and contributing to campaign strategy as well as content production.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, produce and publish platform-first social media content, including vertical video and graphics.
Develop creative concepts and content ideas that support campaign messaging and drive audience engagement.
Create content tailored specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Work directly with clients and campaign stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective digital content.
Take ownership of content production from concept development through to delivery and distribution.
Support the distribution of creative content across organic and paid channels.
Monitor and report on social media performance, using insights to refine and improve content.
Stay up to date with digital trends, formats and platform developments.
Collaborate with campaign teams to ensure content aligns with broader campaign strategy and messaging.
Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by your project manager.
Please note: some out-of-hours work may be required depending on campaign activity.
Person Specification
Highly organised and able to work effectively in a remote environment while managing multiple projects.
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of content production and delivery.
Ability to maintain high professional standards, including accuracy, integrity, quality and evidence-based communication.
Excellent understanding of the social media landscape, trends and channels.
Strong familiarity with vertical video platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
Confidence engaging with clients, partners and campaign stakeholders.
Strong personal commitment to progressive political change.
Good understanding of the current political landscape in Spain, including national and regional contexts.
Experience
Experience editing and publishing content within platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
Experience producing platform-first, video-centred digital content that has demonstrated growth or engagement (for example, growing a TikTok channel).
Experience managing content production independently or contributing to campaign delivery.
Experience using editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva or Descript.
Experience working in a political, union, or third sector/NGO space is desirable.
Skills
Strong writing, copy-editing and proofreading skills.
Creative and ideas-driven, with the ability to develop engaging digital content concepts.
Strong video production and editing capabilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced campaign environment, delivering high-quality work quickly.
Strong self-management and prioritisation skills.
Ability to communicate clearly with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
