Job description
This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how modern digital campaigns are run while building real world experience across content creation, social media strategy and audience growth. Interns will work alongside our team and directly support campaigns, public figures and political projects.
We are looking for ambitious creatives to join our team as part of our third internship programme. 411 welcomes everyone with an interest in progressive politics, digital campaigning and content creation to apply, no previous experience is required.
Throughout the programme you will receive training, mentoring and practical experience working on live projects.
What you'll be doing
You will support the team across a range of digital campaign activity, including:
Creating short form video content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
Coming up with content ideas and spotting trends online
Supporting filming, editing and scripting for social media content
Helping monitor social media performance and identifying what is working
Working with campaign teams to help bring ideas to life
Testing new content formats and platform approaches
You'll be a good fit if you:
Spend far too much time on TikTok, Instagram or other social platforms
Are passionate about progressive politics
Understand what makes content stop people scrolling
Have strong written communication skills
Are organised and able to manage multiple tasks
