Key purpose

You will work on our creators team, supporting the delivery of digital communication strategies for progressive political causes in the UK and internationally. This role will give you experience in developing effective, targeted political campaign strategies, from initial ideation right through to delivery. You'll work closely with the senior members of your team to decide where clients should be collaborating with creators on campaigns, how we reach our target audience and voters, and what the most effective campaign messaging looks like.

You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with creators, stakeholders and political organisations, working with progressive creators and influencers in various contexts, including briefings, filming interviews and building long-lasting relationships both in person and online.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of political campaigns and digital strategy, supporting the team in tailoring strategies to meet specific client needs.

  • Draft clear and persuasive campaign briefings for creators, tailored to segments of target audiences and voters, often to a tight deadline.

  • Assist in mapping creators across different platforms, regions and content niches.

  • Produce graphics and short-form videos to support creator campaign briefings.

  • Support content ideation for creator campaigns and help build ongoing relationships with creators.

  • Collaborate with team members to execute digital projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

  • Support the development of digital strategies and social media content, working with senior team members on content for digital platforms.

  • Track and report on creator campaign performance, providing key insights and assisting with optimisation efforts.

  • Assist in coordinating logistics, ensuring campaigns run smoothly and resources are used efficiently.

  • Stay up to date on digital trends and the political landscape to inform campaign strategy.

  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by your project manager.

  • Out-of-hours work may be required during busy periods and at events.

Person specification

  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Proactive, eager to learn and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong political instinct, with the ability to keep up with current affairs and breaking news.

  • Able to manage tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.

  • A genuine passion for political campaigns and progressive politics.

  • Detail-oriented, with an enthusiasm for creative problem-solving.

  • Willing to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure.

Experience

  • A strong interest in political campaigns and strategy, and the role social media plays in shaping public opinion, is essential.

  • Experience shaping strong, clear written arguments is desirable but not essential.

  • Some experience in communications, social media or political campaigns is desirable but not essential.

  • Experience with creator or influencer campaigns is a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with basic filming and editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva, Edits) is a plus, but training will be provided.

  • Familiarity with basic digital tools (e.g. social media platforms, Google Analytics, content management systems) is a plus but not required.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to large audiences.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Willing to learn and grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

  • A creative approach to problem-solving and campaign execution.
